2008 Will Be Great!!!

December 26, 2007

Seasons Greetings

We have had an amazing 2007. This website has been a
blast, one adventure after another. We can not print all
that has happened but rest assured it has made us smile.
Special thanks to all the women and men that have come
forward to help us on this project. A very special thank
you to Dave Bannerman of david@mediavoice.ca, who has
helped open our eye to the wonderful world of modern
technology. We would like to really step up the website in
January. One of the main things we are planning to do is
Podcasts. We will be chatting about various topics and
welcome suggestions from you.

It has been a challenge with the kids in school and all
those extra hours on the road. With three kids each and
all in different activities being on the road six nights a
week is not uncommon. As most of you can relate to this
schedule.

We survived Christmas. Let go of some old traditions and
created new ones. Over the past year our friendship has
become more like family members, so spending Christmas
together was the new thing to do. It was a blast, we ate
too much and of course laughed lots. We have a saying "Who
has more fun then us."

"Who has more fune then us" is a new way of life for both
of us. We have always put everyone first, never ourselves.
What we finally realized is that living our dreams has
made us so much happier that people around us can not help
but feel the joy. Over the past year we often reflected
how blessed we both feel to have formed our friendship. We
are always amazed at the same paths our lives have
travelled, past and present. We can not decide which one
of us is the younger rebel sister which events seem to
happen to first and which one gets to learn from them.
Either way we always know we are on this road together.
When you hear us talk about being on the same bus this is
what we are refering too. When we first met we both felt we
did not know which direction our lives were headed and used
to joke about getting rid of the driver who was driving the
bus that we were both on. We both now feel that, we ditched
the bus driver at the last pit stop and are now driving the
bus! This in itself has been the most empowering decision
we made in 2007, although we sometimes drive too fast, and
sometimes go off the road we are the ones at the wheel and
nothing compares to it! We hope every women grabs their
steering wheel whether it be at 10 or 100kms and starts
driving in the direction that they want to go! You may not
always take the right road, you may even get lost a time or
two, but you can always take a new road to where you want
to go and we assure you the view from here is AWESOME!

2008 will be filled with laughter, joy, challenges and
tears. This is life, we welcome each and every day as a
new adventure that we will share with you. Hopefully you
will learn as much as we will (without the growing
pains)!!!!

Cheers
Anastasia and Jacqui
