I am making a huge change, moving to an isolated area and starting a job that I have not done before and have little experience in. A year ago the man I thought I'd spend the rest of my life with moved out of our home. I have always been independant and looked after our 2 kids on my own but he was always there if I needed a man around the house. I learned that I didn't need a man to do things for me. I learned to do many things on my own such as maintaning my home, inside and out, yard work, even doing minor work to my own car. I have done home renovations and learned that I love doing these things. I have always done things for myself and will continue to do so. There are 2 people in my life that are my world and all I do is for them. They are my children, my life, my true loves.
Confidence and courage used to be second nature for me - my husband of twenty four years recently left us (myself and our four children) - and now I am at a loss as to how I proceed from here!! I feel so stupid and used - having left my career two years ago - I just can't seem to pull things together!! Where do you women find the strength to go on!? My children are certainly worth every effort and all the tears - but there seems to be nothing in my future! MM
